Carrot-Oat Porridge

Key Ingredients:
oats, psyllium husk, carrot, almonds, raisins, cardamom powder
Ingredients:
1 cup Rolled oats or oat bran
3 cup skim milk or more, depending on the desired consistency of Kheer
2 tsp
Psyllium husk
(Isbalgol, Metamusil-unflavoured) Psyllium Husk
1 Carrot, small, finely chopped
10-15 almonds, skin removed, and grated
10-15 Raisins (Kishmish)
1/8 tsp Cardamom powder
2 tsp Sugar or to taste
Method:
Soak rolled oats and raisins in 1.5 cup milk for 5-7 minutes.
Boil remaining milk in a skillet with carrot for 5 minutes.
Add soaked oats and raisins with milk and boil for 5 minutes.
Add psyllium husk, almonds and cardamom powder and mix.
Serve warm or cold.
